Ladybug Picnic Birthday Party
| We had a birthday celebration for Annabelle recently. Everyone had a
great time and we had fun decorating. I thought I would share some of
my ideas with you. |
| Welcome sign- Red wrapping paper for the back, polka dot wrapping paper for the bugs circles cut in half, circles with antennae for the heads, green leaf was drawn then traced onto green paper and cut. |
| Ants in the kitchen. Glue three circles together, some wiggly eyes, and pipe cleaner for the legs and smile. |
| Drinks- I made the kids mason jars with lids to prevent spills. |
Watch the video when we light her amazing cake.
Ladybug cake- 9 inch circle cake in a spring-form pan, bake, then remove the sides. trim out the head shape and use 2 cans of red and 1 can of black spray frosting with the flower tip. Sparklers for antennae and flower candle.
Musical Chairs- We didn't have enough time for this one but we were going to play musical chairs with the green leaves.
Party favors- The kids kept the ladybug hat, one ladybug shaker from the game and a toy bug net filled with candy.
Kids and adults all had a great time at the party. Especially the birthday girl.
